The onboarding process
All taxi suppliers used by the school can be added to I-GTM for a flat fee of £200 + VAT per supplier.
The process involves I-GTM staff speaking to each supplier, briefing them on how the system works and how they will interact with it. We give them a tour of the dashboard and assist them with logging in. Where the supplier is connected by API, we communicate with the dispatch system’s tech support to onboard each individual account and test that bookings are being received correctly. We provide as much onboarding support as each supplier requires to ensure that they are comfortable with the system and able to continue to serve the school without interruption.
Communication from school is needed to inform taxi companies of the requirement for them to be listed on I-GTM. This creates a closed loop taxi booking process and ensures that the school has the relevant transport details on their dashboard.
The requirement for oversight of taxi operations is driven by ‘best practice’ and both National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools and United Kingdom Visa and Immigration requirements.
